Mancan has partnered with a Bedford company who is looking for a friendly and knowledgeable Auto Parts Counter Clerk to join their team. They will be responsible for assisting customers with auto parts needs, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining inventory.
To be successful as a Parts Counter Clerk, you should have a good understanding of auto parts, be able to use computer systems, and have strong communication skills. You should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Previous mechanic experience is a plus, but not required.
Parts Counter Clerk Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and help them find the right auto parts
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information on product features, prices, availability, and warranties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and display
- Stock and replenish shelves and bins with new or returned parts
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and quality
Parts Counter Clerk Requirements:
- Familiarity with auto parts and their functions
- Customer service experience and skills
- Computer literacy and ability to use point of sale systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs
- Mechanic experience a plus, but not required.
