We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Dry Cleaning Counter Agent. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional customer service at our dry cleaning counter. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday: 7:00AM/12:00PM
• Saturday (every other Saturday): 9:00AM - 3:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly and professional demeanor as they drop off or pick up their garments.
• Assist customers in accurately completing necessary paperwork for their dry cleaning orders.
• Inspect garments for any stains, damages, or special instructions provided by customers.
• Process dry cleaning orders using our computerized system, ensuring accuracy in itemizing garments and recording customer preferences.
• Provide customers with accurate estimates of service timelines and costs.
• Answer inquiries regarding dry cleaning services, pricing, and garment care instructions.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Organize and maintain a clean and orderly work environment at the counter area.
• Assist with sorting and organizing garments for processing by the dry cleaning team.
• Communicate any customer feedback, issues, or concerns to management promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to accurately process orders.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
• Physical ability to lift and carry garment bags and containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work required work schedule stated above.
• Familiarity with garment care and dry cleaning processes is a plus.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
