Deli Counter Clerk jobs in Saginaw, MI

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve subway/deli products to customers, ensuring quality and freshness
- Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate equipment such as slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

Requirements:
- Strong math skills, including the ability to perform basic retail math calculations
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Note: Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
