Duties:
- Assist the Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and develop team members on proper food preparation, service, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in creating work schedules and managing labor costs
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, making bank deposits, and reconciling cash drawers
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or food service management role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, banquet service, and restaurant operations
- Proven ability to lead a team and provide excellent customer service
- Experience with cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with interviewing and hiring processes
