Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our resaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food industry and possess strong leadership and organizational skills.

Duties:
- Assist the Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and develop team members on proper food preparation, service, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in creating work schedules and managing labor costs
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, making bank deposits, and reconciling cash drawers
- Collaborate with the Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or food service management role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, banquet service, and restaurant operations
- Proven ability to lead a team and provide excellent customer service
- Experience with cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with interviewing and hiring processes

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of industry-specific software systems is a plus
