Bean Counter Bakery Cafe is currently seeking a full-time or part-time Barista with prior experience. You must be passionate about providing the best experiences for customers, be a team player, have flexible working hours and enjoy meeting new people.
You will be working in our newly renovated location just minutes to downtown Worcester at 113 Highland Street and, as needed, at our flagship bakery at 270 Grove Street. Bean Counter Bakery Café at Highland Street is Worcester’s first “coffee bar”, won multiple awards and open since 1991!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Must be passionate about coffee
· Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving espresso and coffee beverages, food menu items and bakery products
· Ensure highest quality of coffee extraction and espresso beverages, conforming to company standards at all times
· Ensure espresso and coffee-related equipment are in good working order, properly cleaned and sanitized, and well-maintained at all times
· Ensure product freshness and best presentation of espresso and coffee beverages, and bakery display cases
The ideal candidate would be successful with the following abilities:
· Barista and Café experience with a minimum of 1 years’ experience
· Must enjoy providing exceptional service to our customers
· Commitment to boost customer loyalty
· Ability to multi-task while maintaining exceptional high quality of service
