We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients.

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatrics, and CAD/CAM dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear field of vision
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment system
- Assist with front desk duties such as answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling paperwork

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental receptionist systems and software (Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and maintain proper infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate patient records and managing appointment schedules
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
