Hello! Our office is in Los Gatos, near Good Samaritan Hospital, right of the 85 Highway. We have a beautiful office with a small team that enjoys working with each other. A dedicated dental assistant will help with greeting patients, setting up rooms, and taking x-rays. We are a fee for service/PPO office, no HMO.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. New graduates are welcome. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide preventive care, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene instructions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting dental health.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of hygiene including scaling and root planning
Identify conditions like caries, gingivitis or periodontitis
Administration of local anesthesia
Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify any signs of oral diseases or abnormalities
Take digital dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes, FMX included (Dexis)
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth from decaye
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
Cleaning/prepping operatories and sterilizing instruments
Follow all HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications:
-Valid state dental hygiene license
- CPR license
- Excellent communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
This position is 2 days a week. Monday and Wednesday. Our hours are Monday through Thursday 7:50am to 5pm. 8-9 patients daily. We are closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Compensation, bonuses, and benefits are based on experience. $68.75-75hr.
Our office follows all CDC guidelines, and we are equipped with HEPA air purifiers throughout the office, plexiglass guards at the front desk and we follow all safety measures to keep our patients and team safe.
