- Administer local anesthesia when necessary
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, maintaining a clear field of vision, and providing patient comfort
- Document treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress in electronic medical records
- Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and sterile environment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in dental practice management systems (e.g., Dentrix, CAD)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations
- Familiarity with medical coding and dental assisting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health
