Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat oral diseases. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to improving the oral health and overall well-being of our patients.
Duties:
- Perform routine dental examinations, including patient assessment, medical history review, and dental charting
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures
- Conduct dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, bridges and crowns
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
- Utilize electronic health record systems (Epic) to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile dental environment
Experience:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid Florida State dental license in good standing, NPI, & Tax ID
- DEA Preferably
- Proven experience as a Dentist or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, anatomy, and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with medical coding and terminology related to dentistry
- Proficiency in using CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry is preferred but not required
Schedule: 2-3 days a week.
