Design Director directs and oversees CAE technical and team capability to support product, component, or structure design. Provides expertise and technical leadershipfor benchmarking, concept design, prototype development, simulation, testing protocols, and optimization utilizing CAE design and analysis techniques and tools. Being a Design Director develops and optimizes CAE methodology, including guidelines and standards, to increase design process efficiency. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Design Director typically reports to senior management. The Design Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Design Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect floral arrangements based on their preferences and budget
- Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers, ensuring proper balance and aesthetics
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with the team to develop new designs and stay updated on the latest trends in floral designExperience:
- Previous experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Experience with e-commerce platforms to sell floral products online is desirable
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for sales transactions
- Proven sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers
- Ability to work well in a team environment
