Additionally, Design Director typically reports to senior management. The Design Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Job Description:
The Sales & Design Consultant position is responsible for maintaining consistent and positive sales experiences by offering exceptional customer service and supporting the team. Assist in the development, implementation and/or monitoring of programs to maximize revenue, control expenses and ensure a level of service that results in high customer loyalty and satisfaction. The successful candidate for this position should be comfortable with a variety of responsibilities and possess the ability to adapt to a vibrant work environment.
Qualifications
· Sales and industry knowledge experience preferred but not required
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
· Experience preferred with Quickbooks / Microsoft Excel / Word
· Internet skills – social media platforms and website navigation
Responsibilities
· Ability to analyze customer’s needs and effectively communicate sales, promotions and service options for the best solution
· Accounts payable / receivable on Quickbooks - data entry, customer payment postings, estimates, invoices, and purchase orders
· Develop, implement, and maintain marketing strategies to increase sales ie. rotating catalog of remnants for online sales
· Serves as the lead customer service contact in the showroom including welcoming, answering questions and other related communications.
· Maintain updated pricing on the sales floor
· Execute the daily operational tasks, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by management.
Schedule: Includes weekdays and Saturdays
Salary: Hourly rate depending on experience
