Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to optimize the design of packaging and thermal management solutions, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and system reliability.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings of packaging designs and thermal components.
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for packaging and thermal management components, considering cost, performance, and reliability.
Work closely with suppliers and vendors to procure and evaluate components, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to identify and resolve issues related to packaging and thermal management.
Collaborate with testing and validation teams to define test plans and conduct experiments to verify the performance and reliability of packaging and thermal components.
Generate comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and assembly instructions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in packaging technologies, thermal management techniques, and industry standards.
Support the transition of designs into production, addressing any design-related challenges that arise during the manufacturing process.
Provide technical support to manufacturing teams to ensure successful integration of packaging and thermal components into the final product.
