We're hiring a Process Design Engineer to be responsible for the Process Engineering function as it relates to capital projects. You will report to the Design Engineering Lead for our Americas South region. As a Process Design Engineer, you will direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of process scopes and related documents within area of assigned responsibility. In addition, you will coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design issues.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of process equipment design including pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, etc,.and have the ability to apply process tools to design piping systems, complete material and energy balances, and perform process optimization studies.
You must be able to be based at one of our US Grace locations, however, the ideal candidate will be located in the gulf coast region working from our Lake Charles, LA, Baton Rouge, LA, Pasadena, TX, manufacturing sites, or future Houston, TX office. We offer a hybrid work schedule, Mon/Wed/Thurs in the office and Tues/Fri from home.Travel is project-specific and can accumulate up to 25% and may also include occasional international.
