Design Manager manages a team of CAE specialists that support the design engineering and development of products, components, or structures. Collaborates with engineering teams to provide CAE design, analysis, and modeling support. Being a Design Manager utilizes CAE tools to facilitate benchmarking, concept design, prototype development, simulation, and testing protocols. Evaluates project results to design, develop, and implement guidelines and procedures to achieve engineering efficiencies. Additionally, Design Manager requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Typically reports to a director. The Design Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Design Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Design and Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of capital projects ranging in scope and complexity. This role is responsible for managing the budget, timeline, risks, and delivery of capital projects. Although this role does not have direct reports, the manager is responsible for the leadership of contractors and vendors and ensuring that these parties embrace our Mission and Core Values and deliver the project as contracted.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration. Or equivalent educ/experience
Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
6 years Construction management.
3 years Healthcare construction management.
Proven experience with land use practices and procedures across a diverse geographic portfolio.
