Designer - Web jobs in Fort Smith, AR

• Under general direction, create models/drawings for custom air handling units, which includes equipment layout inside the air handlers, assisting engineers in the development of Mechanical design drawings including, but not limited to piece part drawings, detailed design drawings for fabrication, assembly and installation; prepare layouts, and detail drawings; coordinate work with engineers.

• Create Manufacturing Level Drawings/Models for Custom air handling units, which includes equipment layout inside the air handlers, assisting engineers in the development of Mechanical design drawings.
• Provide technical HVAC support to production when needed.
• Technical liaison with production personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

• CAD Operations Certificate or Mechanical Engineering Technology, 2-year associates or related degree
• Prefer but not required a minimum of 2 - 5 years of design drafting experience in a related manufacturing design environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or similar application preferred 
• Knowledge of drafting standards and specifications
• Manufacturing process experience preferred
• Desire to continuously seek improvement in existing process.
• Creative and energetic personality willing to assume multi-dimensional role in a fast paced custom manufacturing business.
• Good personal and end-user computing skills.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be autonomous (self-starter) and have good problem-solving skills.

Base Pay for this position is $70,000-$95,000.
