Additionally, Designer - Web requires knowledge of web technologies, techniques, and tools such as HTML, Shockwave, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Flex, Adobe Flash, JavaScript, ASP pages, and SEO. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Designer - Web work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. WPSD LOCAL6, the dominant NBC affiliate in the 90th market has an opening in our newsroom for a web producer. Digital producers manage content on our website, social media, digital newsletters, and other platforms.
We use Social News Desk, MGN Online Graphics, ENPS, the TownNews CMS, AP wire & AP Video, NBC & CNN feeds, CNN Newswire and state of the art WSI weather technology.
Web Producers manage our website, mobile APPs, and social media platforms. They work closely with newscast producers, reporters, and anchors. They also offer assistance and advice to other departments like Promotions, Creative Services and Sales.
College degree and some experience preferred.
