High Five Media is looking for a full-time Web & Graphic Designer to create beautiful websites and graphics for our clients.

OVERVIEW

This full-time position provides on-site web and graphic design services to deliver cohesive, consistent, quality work to our clients. Duties of this position will include various web & print projects, domain support, and troubleshooting. This position requires approximately 40 hours per week and the ability to hit the "Go Live Gong" when necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the vision of a project for various clients by referencing client brief
• Communicate project details effectively to High Five Account Managers in a timely manner
• Provide status reports on new graphic and web design projects to the Project Manager.
• Research client industries and competitors and communicate findings appropriately to client services team
• Collaborate with the copy writers to develop the project's content

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Strong design, illustration and typographic skills required.
• Strong project management skills
• Thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Outstanding communication skills and writing
• Creative, Innovative, Self motivated, and Organized.
• Ability to speak tactfully with clients under occasionally stressful circumstances
• Proficiency in Squarespace, WordPress, or related CMS.
• Understanding of SEO best practice
• Experience with the Mac OS.
• Familiarity Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe Photoshop
• Must be able to establish and build relationships with coworkers appropriately
• Good taste in music and ability to wield a game controller is also a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, graphic design, web design, public relations, communication, marketing, or journalism preferred. If Bachelor’s degree in above field is not held, a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in graphic design and web design is required.

COMPANY GENERAL POLICY & PROCEDURE

High Five Media maintains normal working hours of Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Should an employee have any questions or need to make changes to their regular work schedule, the employee should contact their supervisor. High Five Media requests that all work is done in the High Five Media office. In rare occasions with only supervisor/partner approval will an employee be able to work outside the office.
