Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Technician with 1-2 years of experience to join our team. As a Desktop Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical advice, troubleshooting assistance and repair services to our store customers. You will also be responsible for opening and closing the store, working with the team to maintain stock levels, and a customer-friendly retail environment.

You will have expertise in Windows (8, 10 and 11), MacOS and hardware, be comfortable working with higher end gaming PC's, Home Networking, WiFi, and office applications.

A basic understanding of Linux would be advantageous but not essential.

Retail experience is a plus.

Clean driving license and car required.

- Install, configure, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals

- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions

- Respond to Customer inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in person

Qualifications:

-Experience as a PC Technician or similar role

- Familiarity with LAN/WAN networks and network protocols (TCP/IP)

- Experience with help desk support and troubleshooting techniques

- Some proficiency in supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android)

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
