Desktop Publishing Operator jobs in the United States

Christian Church located in Sarasota seeks a Part-time Church secretary with strong desktop publishing skills using the latest technology. Bring your software know-how and talent to the job! The selected candidate will coordinate and prepare weekly Sunday Service Bulletin and Projection Slides used in Sunday services using MS Publisher and Proclaim software. In addition, we are seeking someone who is experienced with the production of a periodic Newsletter. Proficiency in MS Publiher and MS Word and is a must, (including the MS Word mail merge function).

Applicant should possess experience posting photos, graphics and text in Facebook and Instagram and other social Media outlets. Will use Constant Contact software to distribute email and other mass communications. Will also assist in posting updates and the maintenance of the Church Website. Experience using Canva software to produce graphics is highly desired.

The selected person will be the first person to greet visitors and answer phone calls; and therefore, should have strong verbal communication skills and demonstrate a professional demeanor. Other secretarial duties include church related correspondence, incoming email monitoring, and general secretarial/administrative work.
