Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Public Area Attendant to join our team. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas within our establishment. This includes lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Duties:

- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Clean windows and glass surfaces

- Maintain cleanliness of elevators and stairwells

- Restock supplies such as toiletries and paper products

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department

- Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines

Experience:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

- Familiarity with floor care (sweeping, mopping, buffing)

- Experience in industrial cleaning is a plus

- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is beneficial

Skills:

- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are met

- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns

- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
