Detective/Investigator, Except Public jobs in Lansing, MI

4- 6 hours per day (Monday through Friday)

Most shifts end by 2:30 pm.

Additional hours may be available for staff willing to learn extra jobs.

No weekend or night hours are required.

Wage $14 - 15.25 starting pay with incremental pay adjustments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Preparation of high-quality food items according to standardized recipes or instructions in a fast, efficient manner to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.

-Serve meals or prepare for delivery at times, using correct portioning, meeting USDA minimum standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperatures and is attractive and tasty.

-Ability to use kitchen equipment.

-Performs cleaning duties in the kitchen and serving area daily, maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness and storing food properly. Cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments. Does dishes throughout the shift.

-Works effectively and maintains good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, students, parents, and Food Service Director.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
