Being a Development Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Development Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Position Summary: As the Outreach and Community Engagement Specialist, you will serve as an advocate and liaison to the optometric and primary care referring provider network to promote high quality coordinated care. Prior healthcare experience is highly preferred, especially in the Ophthalmology field. You should be able to communicate professionally, be comfortable working in a medical environment, be highly organized, have a strong customer service background, possess excellent computer and organizational skills, and embody a welcoming/friendly demeanor. There is a considerable amount of travel required within your assigned territory.
