Development Coordinator identifies potential donors and evaluates their interests and capacity to give to the organization. Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Development Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Development Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Northeast Harbor Library seeks a full time (30 hours) Development Coordinator to manage the library’s fundraising and development activities. The Development Coordinator works in collaboration with the Library Director and the library board on development strategy, and oversees day to day development work. This is a 30 hour per week position with full benefits, including health insurance, retirement and paid leave.

Qualifications:
The Development Coordinator is an at-will position operating under the direction of the Library Director. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and mail merge is important. Experience with Blackbaud fundraising software and prior experience working for a non-profit are desired. The Development Coordinator must have the ability to work independently, to meet deadlines and to perform multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
