Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Coordinator will be responsible for managing the donor database, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge, ensuring that all donor communication is accurate and timely, as well as supporting annual campaigns and fundraising events. The successful candidate will be a flexible team-player who is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. The coordinator will need to have a thorough understanding of fundraising best practices as well as AC4Ed’s fundraising plan and key strategies to help the organization realize and exceed fundraising goals.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, communications or a related field from an accredited college or university. Experience with Raiser’s Edge, communications experience including letter and email drafting and editing, and some experience with prospecting preferred. The Development Coordinator is a detail-focused position with significant opportunities to assume responsibilities across a wide range of fundraising, donor cultivation, and stewardship activities.
