POSITION: STAFF DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR - # 98-26 HOURS: 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK, MAINLY 1ST SHIFT MON-FRI SOME WEEKEND & EVENING HOURS MAY BE NECESSARY AVAILABLE: IMMEDIATELY REQUIREMENTS: 1. Associate's Degree in Business or related field and one (1) year of related experience or a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) with two (2) years of related experience. 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with others in confidential situations. 3. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products is required. A working knowledge of other computer software applications, to include, business and education related applications is preferred. 4. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors, department heads, employees, and members of the general public. 5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. DESCRIPTION: Responsible for data analysis of employee training and compliance as it relates to compliance and agency needs. Also responsible for upkeep and maintenance of training records in training software. Works in conjunction with Staff Development team members and others in the agency to identify, create, advance, implement and monitor high quality agency wide training. Works closely with supervisors to identify appropriate training needs. Administers training in electronic platform.
