The Council serves as a membership organization for major corporations, financial institutions, government agencies and universities and serves the state of Florida. FSMSDC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Coordinator to join our team. The Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various events to support the organization's mission and fundraising goals. This role requires a creative, detail-oriented, and organized professional with a passion for event management and a commitment to making a positive impact.
Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
· Plan, organize, and execute a diverse range of events, including fundraisers, donor appreciation events, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities.
· Coordinate logistics, timelines, and all necessary resources for successful event implementation.
· Collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
Community Engagement:
· Foster positive relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners.
· Identify and explore opportunities for collaboration with other organizations to enhance event impact and outreach.
· Utilize various channels to generate awareness and participation.
Staff Collaboration:
· Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create effective promotional materials and strategies for events.
Post-Event Evaluation:

· Prepare comprehensive reports detailing event outcomes and return on investment.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
· Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
