Conducts research and prospecting to locate individuals aligning with the organization's values and mission. Being a Development Coordinator analyzes data for trends and creates donor profiles to assist with donor development, stewardship, and direct communications and fundraising strategy. Uses a database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain research data and donor records, execute mailing or e-mail campaigns, and create reports. Additionally, Development Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Development Coordinator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
