Additionally, Development Coordinator maintains confidentiality and complies with data privacy regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Development Coordinator work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     The Human Resources Coordinator performs HR generalist responsibilities that require timely coordination, accuracy, and processing related to a variety of HR tasks, activities, and reporting and will help support the following areas: onboarding/off boarding, employee relations and engagement, metrics reporting, benefits, employee health and disability management for SVMD staff and affiliated medical group(s). 

    Essential Functions:

     

    • Provides a wide range of general administrative tasks and activities to support the Human Resources Department
    • Assists with all internal and external HR related inquires or requests
    • Creates and maintains accurate and up-to-date employee and provider  files and records
    • Assists with onboarding process and New Staff Orientation – ensuring all new employees have the new hire paperwork in advance; conducts follow ups with candidates who have not completed their new hire paperwork 
    • Completes employee off-boarding  processes and schedules exit interviews between the employee and Sr. HR Business Partner

    Other Responsibilities:

    • Assists with onboarding activities associated with acquisitions of medical groups/practices
    • Performs other duties and projects as assigned to meet organizational business needs

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Ability to type 80 WPM
    • Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience required; preferably in a healthcare organization (i.e.,  medical group, medical foundation or ambulatory care/outpatient organization)
    • Strong technical skills and competency using PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel; including experience with database programs
    • Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, listening, interpersonal and presentations.)
    • Outstanding customer/guest relations skills
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships through collaboration with widely diverse groups, including individuals at all levels both internal and external of the organization
    • Ability to work as a team player within the department and organization
    • Ability to work independently with minimal  supervision
    • Demonstrated abilities to apply judgment and make sound decisions
    • Demonstrated abilities to resolve complex issues
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines
