Development Director manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Development Director works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Development Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Development Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Development Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Daycare Teacher General Position Description

    The Daycare Teacher is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.

    Daycare Teacher Key Responsibilities

    Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.

    • Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
    • Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth.
    • Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
    • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
    • Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
    • Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards.
    • Maintain accurate records, forms and files.

    Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

    Daycare Teacher Educational Requirements

    • Minimum CDA, TCC, ECE credits to qualify for Lead Teacher
    • Minimum Associate's Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
