Development Director manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Development Director works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Development Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Development Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Community Child Development Center
Assistant Director
The Community Child Development Center (CCDC) is a lively, established, and licensed childcare facility located in the heart of Missouri. CCDC is eagerly looking to fill a new role and find our new assistant director. We serve children from birth to age six and our wonderful program is open year-round.
The Assistant Director will provide leadership in administration activities of CCDC. The assistant director with the director will empower parents to support the daily activities of CCDC and most importantly the educational growth of the children of CCDC in a family-centered program.
Recommended Employment Qualifications:
The Assistant Director must have an education and/or experience in Early Childhood, Child Development and working with families. The Assistant Director must be willing to attend training as needed. The minimum requirement would be a CDA and it is preferred to have an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree. Applicants must have a valid Missouri Driver’s License or be eligible to obtain a valid Missouri Driver’s License.
Successful candidates must submit to a pre-employment drug screening, physical examination/medical history check, TB test, Family Care and Safety background check.
