    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Overlook’s Home Health and Hospice Care Organization is growing rapidly and working to implement a 2023 / 2024 Strategic Growth Plan to expand our reach. We specialize in home care and hospice services for seniors and are dedicated to accessible, quality care. We evaluate our success based on the quality of care we provide to our clients and operate with the understanding that our clients are someone’s parent, grandparent, child, friend, or neighbor.
    We are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Director who will oversee all Business Development and Marketing efforts for our Overlook Home Health Care and Hospice businesses. In conjunction with our Executive Director of Home Health Care and Hospice, this role will focus on growth in our existing markets, as well as expansion into the Metrowest and Boston areas. This position is responsible for expanding our reach, developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing goals and plan, managing budgets and driving the performance of entire Liaison/Account Management/BD team.
    POSITION DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Sales and Marketing Plan Development and Implementation
    In conjunction with the Overlook Executive Director of Home Health Care and Hospice Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and sales strategy to support The Overlook’s Home Health and Hospice Care strategic growth plan.
    Coordinate across the continuum with other Sales and Marketing Leaders to ensure consistency in overall branding, as appropriate, and to fully leverage opportunities across the Enterprise.
    Identify and leverage The Overlook Home Health Care and Hospice core strengths and market differentiators.
    Identify market weaknesses and develop plans to address those weaknesses.
    Outline key sales and marketing objectives and develop projections.
    Prepare actionable and measurable marketing plans, identifying priorities, timetable, staffing, and required investments.
    Implement marketing plans staying within established timetables.
    Continuously review and evaluate plans for effectiveness and adjust as needed to reach desired results.
    Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with high level executives/influencers in health care facilities, systems and communities, as well as other potential referral partners and industry intermediaries to meet business goals
    People Management
    Lead, supervise, develop and provide direction to Marketing Managers, Account Managers and Liaisons.
    Drive results through effective goal setting, sales forecasting and pipeline management.
    Ensure maintenance of accurate records of sales and prospecting activities in Overlook’s CRM.
    Support Account Managers/Liaisons in cultivating strategic relationships through phone calls, in person visits (when safe), presentations and other appropriate mediums to increase referrals and revenue.
    Motivate Account Managers/Liaisons to achieve growth, performance and quality through communication, education of best practices, mentorship and coaching.
    Lead relationships with key partners to ensure Account Manager/Liaisons are effectively selling our services.
    Organize and lead an internal support team, as needed (leveraging existing staff) to support the implementation of the developed marketing and sales plan(s).
    Create a Team culture that embodies The Overlook Culture of Excellence and our Guiding Principles.
    Embrace technology and data to scale growth and operations.
    Brand Development and Management
    Be responsible for overall Overlook Home Health and Hospice Care brand development and brand management including our online presence, marketing messages, marketing materials, etc.
    Monitor and manage The Overlook Home Health and Hospice Care online platforms (website, social media pages) for effectiveness (SEO, lead generation/conversion, etc.), and facilitate needed updates/improvements.
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    Bachelor’s Degree - required - in either business, public relations/marketing, health care related field or of an accredited school of nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy or social work.
    At least 5-years of proven sales leadership experience in marketing and sales management positions in senior care, in the Home Care and Hospice industry or other directly adjacent sectors including home assisted living, long term care, care coordination, etc. - required
    Experience setting and implementing marketing and business development strategy, including social media, translating to actionable and measurable plans, and delivering growth results.
    Previous sales experience and successful track record in identifying and building relationships to drive business results
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to facilitate small-group presentations
    Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities with exceptional organizational and time management skills
    Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills, as well as a deeply ingrained passion for seniors to successfully nurture relationships
    Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, as well as the ability to learn new applications; experienced in the use of relationship management tools for tracking leads
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
    Primary work will be performed indoors in an office setting, may be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow); walking and standing frequently; occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
