Diabetes Educator educates patients on the necessary lifestyle changes involved in a diabetes diagnosis, including nutrition, medication, physical activity and glucose testing. Collects patient data to monitor health status and proactively manage the patient's condition. Being a Diabetes Educator facilitates skill development and behavior modification so that the patient is able to successfully manage the disease. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent. Additionally, Diabetes Educator typically required to be a Certified Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Diabetes Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • We are seeking Visting Educators to support school efforts by supporting and executing a shared vision and mission for enhanced student learning to achieve dramatic gains in student achievement. Reporting to the Principal, the Visiting Educator will support the vision for school culture and academics, support a rigorous plan for students and support the team to ensure that students graduate career and college ready.


    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Visiting Educator will be responsible for providing students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms in the absence of regular classroom teacher

    Review and implement regular classroom teacher’s routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.

    Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.

    Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.

    Maintain open communication with parents.

    Perform other job-related duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    College Diploma.

    Be able to pass Background Check.

    Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management, both internal and external to the district.
