Diabetes Educator educates patients on the necessary lifestyle changes involved in a diabetes diagnosis, including nutrition, medication, physical activity and glucose testing. Collects patient data to monitor health status and proactively manage the patient's condition. Being a Diabetes Educator facilitates skill development and behavior modification so that the patient is able to successfully manage the disease. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent. Additionally, Diabetes Educator typically required to be a Certified Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Diabetes Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Responsibilities:

    In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the sales plan by delivering proficient sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers.

    • Within an assigned territory, utilize all marketing and selling materials designed for a respective audience which includes physicians, healthcare providers and healthcare clinic personnel
    • Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent coverage of the territory according to a plan of action
    • Participation in training and development programs while abiding by all industry and corporate policies and procedures
    • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals while growing sales within the assigned territory

    Requirements:

    Essential Requirements:

    • BA/BS degree required
    • Business to business sales experience or early career with Internship experience and/or Sales degree is highly preferred
    • Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work independently or within a team environment.
    • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary, including overnights and/or weekends

    Desired Requirements:

    • Documented history and proven track record of sales success

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $55,000 to $67,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
