JOB DESCRIPTION *

ZACHRY is seeking an experienced Mechanical LOTO Coordinator for new Construction work at the Golden Pass LNG Project in Sabine Pass, Texas.

Position Summary

The Mechanical LOTO Coordinator will review the submitted LOTOs for accuracy, walk down the work area prior to issuance as needed, hang all locks and tags for the LOTO, and have the demeanor to work in a customer service environment.

Qualification Highlights

• Must have High School Diploma
• Must have LOTO supervisor/management experience
• Must be able to meet all physical requirements.
• Must be able to work at heights in excess of 300 ft.
• Must have reliable transportation, with a clean driving record.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure the LOTO is accurate and be able to advise what is needed for safe work to commence.
• Audit LOTOs that are out in the field.
• Ensure the accuracy of all attachments associated with the LOTO.
• Assist site workforce as needed to help direct accurate LOTOs.
• Hang tags and locks in the field per request

Required Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma
• Must have 1 year of LOTO management experience
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform essential functions on a computer.
• Must be willing to follow all company directives and safety procedures.
• Must be able to work at heights.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be professional, courteous, and be a part of the team.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience working as a past LOTO Manager on a construction project.

Reports to Position

• This position does not have any direct reports.

Physical Requirements

• Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, work off platforms, and may occasionally work out on an open structure using the appropriate fall protection requirements.
• Must have good visual acuity and depth perception.
• Must be able to work outside in the changing weather conditions including the heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
• Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves, harnesses, and steel-toed work boots.
