Role Overview
The Medical Assistant Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all Medical Assistant Externs and/or new Medical Assistant hires for Cooley Dickinson Medical Group (CDMG) and for providing training and support. In addition, the Medical Assistant Training Coordinator functions as a Medical Assistant II, assisting providers and nursing staff in the delivery of adult and pediatric nursing care. The Medical Assistant Training Coordinator provides care in a professional manner in a demanding clinical environment.
The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm. There is no distinct home location in this role, and you would be expected to reliably commute to various practices across the Pioneer Valley. Towns/cities include Amherst, Belchertown, Florence, Greenfield, Hadley, Northampton, South Deerfield, West Hatfield, and Williamsburg, MA.
