Diagnostic Imaging Manager plans and implements the overall diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services for several departments which may include nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. The Diagnostic Imaging Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, is seeking an Imaging Manager to join our team! 

    • The Manager- Imaging Services plans, directs and oversees activities, programs, staff, and services for their responsible department(s) and location(s). 
    • The position develops and implements goals and objectives for assigned areas of responsibility in collaboration with Regional Director. 
    • The position implements and manages plans and budgets necessary to achieve goals. 
    • She/he will seek and consult leader, other departments and within the system functional team to ensure effective and efficient coordination of efforts.
    • Oversees and directs the work of supervisory and non-supervisory employees as assigned and assures competency. 
    • In collaboration with the Regional Director, oversees all departmental services in accordance with applicable hospital standards, policies and procedures, guidelines and regulatory requirements.

    Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks, day shift.

    Experience/Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree required; Master’s degree desired.
    • Current clinical license as applicable.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a clinician required; leadership experience preferred.
