Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Manager of Diagnostic Imaging for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In This Role:

• You will be responsible for monitoring all aspects of care in the Medical Imaging Facility. This includes but not limit to Diagnostic Imaging with X-Ray, CT Scanning, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Ultrasound and MRI, quality control, transportation, radiation safety support and other related duties.
• You will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging with consideration of the physical condition of the patient.
• You will be responsible for holding an active membership in professional societies and organizations relating to Medical Imaging.
• You will be responsible for the budget/assets controlled for diagnostic x-ray equipment, CT Scanners, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Portable X-ray, Dictation equipment and routine accessories.
• You will be responsible for monitoring staffing expenses, routine expenses and recommend purchases for new or replacement equipment.
• You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers is required.
• Current Texas Licensure or permit to practice Radiography is required.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Medical Imaging facility is required. 3 years of supervisory experience is required.
