Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Requires a certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Diagnostic Imaging Manager typically reports to a director. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services in the Imaging department. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Assessing patients, completing nursing assessments, and documenting and communicating findings.
• Establishing care plans and coordinating ongoing care.
• Performing nursing procedures and treatments.
• Providing telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administering medication.
