Being a Diesel Mechanic utilizes computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes. Replaces and/or refurbishes parts. Additionally, Diesel Mechanic maintains maintenance logs according to requirements. Ensures services provided follow all quality standards and safety procedures. May perform DOT annual inspections on vehicles. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A.     This is a physical job that often involves working in tight spaces under vehicles.

    Demand work (VCRs & Failures)

    Brakes, U- Joints / Bearings, Steering / Suspension, Starting / Charging, Emissions / Drivability diagnosis.

    Overhead Valve adjustments, Light Engine repair; Water pumps, Injectors, Fuel Pumps

    • You may be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift
