May perform DOT annual inspections on vehicles. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A. Min 5 years diesel mechanic experience
BIT/DOT Inspection and Air Brake Certification, ASE or similar trade certification or designation.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic/air brake systems, electrical, and suspension systems.
Strong knowledge of clutch repairs/replacement, minor/major engine overhauls.
Experience with welding.
Strong character and work ethic.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Own set of tools.
Valid California CDL.
Ability to work independently and under deadlines.
EXPERIENCE WITH FUEL TANKERS A HUGE PLUS
Schedule: Tue-Sat 7am - 4pm
Pay: up to $35/hr
