Our company is seeking a Registered Dietitian for long term care nursing facility in Philadelphia, PA area.
Registered Dietitian Summary of Job Duties:
· Assess and monitors the Resident’s nutritional status, provide recommendations to medical staff, and develop adequate care plans.
· Evaluate the special needs of Residents regarding nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss.
· Partner with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust resident’s care plans.
· Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia.
· Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
Registered Dietitian Qualification:
· One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
· Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Nutrition or Dietetics as well as the completion of the accredited Dietetic Internship program.
