Job Summary:

We are looking for compassionate Home Care Professionals to work with our rewarding and supportive home care team and make a positive difference in people’s daily lives. Join our mission of helping clients and their families in the city of San Francisco and the Bay Area to achieve peace of mind by providing personal home care and being proactive in seeking resources and solutions to those in need. We are excited for you to join our team and currently have immediate caregiver opportunities. Pay is dependent on experience (DOE) from $19/hour - $22/hour and on certifications and qualifications.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide focused individual client interactions and activities in accordance with an established care plan
• Prepare meals in accordance with service plan
• Assist client(s) with bathing, hygiene, and grooming needs
• Light housekeeping/cleaning and daily activities
• Assist with incontinence care and toileting
• Work closely with a Case Manager to fulfill patient’s medical needs
• Schedule appointments (depending on service plan)
• Bandage care, transferring/positioning, and ordering medical supplies (depending on service plan)
• Work closely with family and medical providers to ensure client is comfortable and pain free at all times (depending on service plan)
• Assist with inventory reports and ordering of supplies
• Monitor medications in accordance to doctors’ orders with regulations and training standards
• Available for transportation of client (appointments, medication, groceries)

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others
• Have at least 1 year of previous care giving experience and/or relevant work history. (we are open to training the right applicant)
• Offers contingent on successful completion of live scan background check, TB test, and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Proficient in English, second language is a plus
• Must obtain Home Care Aide Certification, 1 year from hire date
• Ability to carry, lift, pull or push 30 pounds (lbs.)
• Must possess a current California License or Driver’s License
• Must be CPR Certified. (weare open to training the right applicant)
• Local residents (San Francisco or immediate areas) highly encouraged to apply
• Must have reliable transportation (car or ready access to BART, etc.)
