Dietitian, Sr. jobs in Lowell, MA

Dietitian, Sr. reviews physicians diagnosis and designs and implements therapeutic nutritional care plans for patients utilizing general dietetic standards and regulations. Monitors and documents patient progress and consults with physicians as needed. Being a Dietitian, Sr. educates and provides guidance to staff, patients, and families regarding diet and food plans. Administers and advises food service operations to ensure menus comply with prescribed nutritional plans. Additionally, Dietitian, Sr. may supervise less experienced dieticians. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Dietitian, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     • Work cooperatively with physicians and our clinical team to provide the highest level of nutritional care to our residents and sub-acute patients.

    • Conducts initial, quarterly, and annual assessments
    • Follows and monitor residents nutritional status. Document resident status in E.H.R.
    Requirements for Dietitian:
    • 2 years of geriatric nutrition and/or skilled nursing/long-term care experience, preferred
    • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in state of Massachusetts, required
    • Current SERVSafe Certificate
    • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC), preferred
