Dietitian Supervisor jobs in Hilton Head Island, SC
Dietitian Supervisor supervises staff that plans, prepares, and delivers meals to patients. Consults and coordinates with nutritionists to ensure all menus comply with general dietetic standards and fulfill prescribed patients nutritional and therapeutic requirements. Being a Dietitian Supervisor oversees all food service operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Dietitian Supervisor typically reports to a manager. Requires Certified Dietary Manager(CDM). The Dietitian Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Schedule: Monday-Friday during business hours.

- Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments
- Experience working with tube feedings
- Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family
- Meet DOH/state/federal regulations and company standards
- Perform duties independently without training or direction
Requirements: Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Experience providing general nutrition education (IE weight loss, weight gain)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with electronic charting systems
- Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations
