    Job Summary:

    The Dietitian provides nutritional programs and recommendations based on a pre-assessment of clients after evaluating their nutritional and health status, anthropometric and body composition measurements, lifestyle, blood test results, and dietary habits and preferences. The Dietitian will customize the nutritional principles from an existing pool of diets and nutrition recommendations. Additionally, the Dietitian provides support and counsel on how to lead a sustainable healthier lifestyle in order to obtain successful treatment outcomes and to improve health issues related to nutrition.

    Essential Functions: *

    • Works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team to provide white-glove healthcare services to an exclusive clientele. Manages a caseload of clients throughout the treatment process; and at staged intervals, meets with clients to assess their ongoing nutritional and dietary needs and records progress in the electronic health record.
    • Counsels patients on nutritional and dietary issues and encourages and promotes healthy eating habits includes online written response in addition to the frontal sessions. Provides the Clinical Program Manager with recommendations on foods and supplements for client consumption at the clinic, before, during, or after treatment.
    • Assists clients with developing meal plans, taking into consideration clients’ preferences, lifestyle, and practical issues; evaluates the effects of meal plans and change the plans as needed.
    • Provides guidance to clients on how to implement the actual eating plan according to the chamber treatment schedule.
    • Promotes better nutrition by speaking to client groups about diet, nutrition, and the relationship between good eating habits and preventing or managing specific diseases.
    • Keeps up with the latest nutritional science research.
    • Must be open-minded to suggest various nutritional approaches.
    • Interpret and reflect body composition analysis results and communicates the changes.
    • Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job role.
    • May perform other duties/projects as assigned.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree a plus.
    • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in the State of Florida.
    • Certification in sports nutrition a plus.
    • Certification for blood test analysis program or experience analyzing blood tests a plus.
    • Current basic life support (BLS) certification (with AED) a plus.

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years’ experience in clinical Dietitian role.

    Required Skills & Knowledge:

    • Must be able to evaluate the health status of clients to determine the most appropriate food choices for a client to improve overall health.
    • Must be able to interpret scientific studies and translate nutrition science into practical eating advice.
    • Intuitive to clients’ needs.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the treatment process.
    • Ability to encourage clients with positive feedback due to good progress and strengthen positive points even when results are partially or moderate
    • Strong customer service and empathic demeanor.
    • Must be caring and empathetic when helping clients address dietary issues and any related emotions.
    • Ability to provide a practical rapid solution (for groceries, cooking, eating out, food alternative, Taking dietary supplements, etc.)
    • Must listen carefully to understand clients’ goals and concerns.
    • Strong attention to detail and must be organized.
    • Effective and strong presentation skills.
    • Must demonstrate efficiency in written and verbal communication.
    • Must be self-motivated, flexible, and able to demonstrate strong time management skills
    • Must be able to make sound judgment decisions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
