Dietitian Supervisor jobs in Passaic, NJ
Dietitian Supervisor supervises staff that plans, prepares, and delivers meals to patients. Consults and coordinates with nutritionists to ensure all menus comply with general dietetic standards and fulfill prescribed patients nutritional and therapeutic requirements. Being a Dietitian Supervisor oversees all food service operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Dietitian Supervisor typically reports to a manager. Requires Certified Dietary Manager(CDM). The Dietitian Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. QUALIFICATIONS for a Registered Dietitian:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of your job position in conjunction with Food Service Director is to plan, organize, and develop the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
