Digital Collection Librarian maintains a library's digital collection of books, serials, documents, audiovisuals, or other materials, and assists groups and individuals in locating, obtaining and using materials. Trains others in the creation or preservation of digital resources and the use of the library's digital system(s). Being a Digital Collection Librarian is responsible for the library's open source projects and procures licenses for digital content. Interacts with IT staff in selecting/developing, implementing and maintaining the library's technical infrastructure. Additionally, Digital Collection Librarian requires a master's degree in library science from an ALA-accredited school in a related field. Typically reports to a director. The Digital Collection Librarian manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Digital Collection Librarian typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Overview:
Responsible for building, guiding, and supporting a store to bring the Southern Marsh experience to customers while growing sales and profitability.
Functions & Responsibilities:
-Generate Sales
-Meets and exceeds store financial goals
-Measure and develop store and team performance goals to increase profitability
-Actively looks for opportunities to drive additional sales and traffic
-Aware of market competitor activities
-Sources and supports In-Store and Head Quarter driven events
-Supports and Communicates Head Quarter initiatives
Customer Experience:
-Ensures the store reflects Southern Marsh’s brand experience to our customers
-Develops customers into repeat shoppers through information gathering, customer follow-up, and email capture
-Educates team and customers regarding product information and brand initiatives
-Ensures team and customer education regarding product knowledge and brand initiatives
-Develops and ensures store systems and practices support the customer experience
-Encourages managers and team to solicit customer feedback to better product and store environment
Team Development:
-Operates a welcoming, fun, encouraging, and energetic yet professional store environment that adheres to all HR policies and laws
-Creates schedules to support an engaging customer service environment
-Develops and educates Assistant GM’s and team members
-Creates, attends, and supports manager and team meetings and team-building exercises
-Recognizes and rewards Assistant GM's and team's performance
-Builds an environment that fosters open and respectful communication with team and Head Quarter partners
-Maintains talent pool by promoting the brand to fill open positions in a timely manner through proactive recruitment and networking

Operations:
-Ensures store is compliant with operational standards, expectations, and federal law

-Develops loss prevention awareness among all team members
-Consistently meets payroll expectations

Merchandising:
-Ensures merchandising reflects current brand initiatives and local customer needs

-Makes merchandise moves based on sell-through and customer feedback to drive business
Requirements/Qualifications:
-3 years as a Store Manager in similar volume, type business
-Total 5 years of retail supervisory experience
-Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
-Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
-Proven success in staff development and mentorship
