Position Summary
Under the direction of the Digital Marketing Supervisor and the Digital Marketing Manager, the administrator assists in the execution of client strategic marketing plans. Responsibilities vary and are performed daily, weekly, and monthly, as assigned, to ensure timely and accurate design, setup, and implementation.
Essential Job Functions
Based on the direction of the Digital Marketing Manager, sets-up assigned marketing campaigns for client websites including banners, product SKUs, eblasts, category landing pages, and navigation bar tabs, and ensures campaigns are up to date in internal tracker.
Monitors campaigns, verifying eblasts/SMS links, banner links, landing pages, coupon codes, navigation bar tabs, SKUs, etc. for accuracy and edits as appropriate or refers to Business Account Specialist as needed.
Uploads bimonthly client catalogs and updates website banners to ensure promotions are active at designated time for the promotional period month. Adds education booklets and holiday magazines, as applicable, and ensures they are active according to the client’s timeline. Links all banners to the appropriate area/product and sets the correct run dates for each.
Prepares blogs by referencing the manufacturer's website, compiling product information, writing content, proofing, and editing to ensure content is professional, speaks to the target audience of the client, and maintains a trendy aesthetic. Obtains approval from Business Account Specialist and uploads to client site.
Updates regular and promotional SKUs for Shopify websites to include uploading promotional images and ensuring product information for each SKU is accurate.
Contributes to the coordination and development of communication materials such as sell sheets, magazines, brochures, website pages, packaging, and in-store displays.
Monitors consumer, market, and industry trends in addition to competitor activities to aid clients in remaining competitive with promotions, website design, print publications, and digital extensions to increase overall sales performance.
Remains current with industry, digital media, and design knowledge by reviewing professional publications, and/or participating in professional societies.
Knowledge & Skills
High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or similar field plus 1-2 years’ experience, or a combination of applicable education and work experienced required.
Proficient in Mailchimp or Klaviyo or other marketing platforms. Familiar with Click up or similar project management tool. Working knowledge of Shopify, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design technology tools preferred.
Ability to remain organized while working in a high-intensity, highly fluid, and fast-paced environment with an aptitude to think creatively, yet logically, to solve problems.
Ability to communicate in both oral and written format professionally and effectively
