Digital Marketing Director develops and implements the digital marketing strategy and leads tactical operations to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Being a Digital Marketing Director leads the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Employs social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Additionally, Digital Marketing Director reviews online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Digital Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     We are seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to lead demand generation efforts across our digital platforms; specifically, acquisition, cross-sell, and retention for home services like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. You'll optimize data-driven strategies, collaborate with agencies to enhance programs and identify emerging trends. Your role includes evaluating and upgrading our marketing tech stack, forecasting performance, and managing a team of digital marketers. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you'll be crucial in building, expanding and leading our digital marketing programs, initiatives and teams.     Please note that this position is in-office 5 days a week in Brea, CA.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Digital Marketing Strategy & Optimization Data-Driven Insights: Develop comprehensive digital marketing plans for 19 individually branded HVAC companies, utilizing best practices and data-driven strategies. Monitor results and utilize data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and optimize campaigns.
    • Local Marketing Expertise & Audience Engagement and Conversion: Drive local marketing results via various channels such as GMB, LSA, paid search, SEO, social media, and email campaigns to engage and convert audiences.
    • Membership Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital programs to drive membership sign-ups, retention, and service usage.
    • Multi-site Planning & Operational Partnership: Develop a portfolio digital marketing plan tailored to individual brand needs, accommodating different service lines, regional needs, and brand situations. Develop partnerships across operations to understand unique market and brand needs.
    • Testing Strategies & Marketing Technology: Develop testing strategies in partnership with Campaign, Field Marketing, and Operations to improve all areas of the program. Evaluate and recommend marketing technology to automate processes and drive results.
    • Agency Management & Campaign Reporting: Work with various digital agencies to drive results, identify new programs and testing opportunities. Present standardized campaign reporting across all channels and strategies.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals. 
    • Team Leadership & Team Player: Manage a team, managing 19 brands, focusing on scalability, driving results, and automation. Be an integral part of the marketing leadership team to create a best-in-class marketing program.
    • Goal Definition & Ownership: Define and own goals, KPIs, budget, placement allocations, and performance forecasts.


    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field with the ability to develop strategies and execution plans.
    • 10 years in digital marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies as well as experience developing partner relationships and leading/coaching teams.
    • Experience in home service, multi-site business, retail or hospitality is preferred but not required.
    • Marketing for local businesses is preferred, with an in-depth understanding including but not limited to : SEO principles, PPC, LSA, online review management, and social media.
    • Experience working with various stakeholders, supporting multiple sites, and handling change management and integration of acquired entities, with excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excel in navigating a large organization, managing competing priorities, and adapting quickly to changing circumstances, ensuring alignment on business goals, KPIs, and market trends.
    • Analyze performance, provide actionable recommendations, and deliver continuous improvements across the channel portfolio to increase impact, with proven analytics experience and exceptional organizational skills.
    • A champion in continuously advancing one-to-one member engagement, with digital marketing expertise and agency management experience, including holding accountable for results.
