Digital Marketing Supervisor supervises the day-to-day operations to implement the digital marketing strategy and to increase product demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website, and promote an online presence. Utilizes search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic to the website. Being a Digital Marketing Supervisor guides the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote sales. Employs social media, email, and mobile marketing campaigns. Additionally, Digital Marketing Supervisor reviews online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Digital Marketing Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Digital Marketing Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Job Summary:

    The Director of Social & Digital Marketing/Analytics is primarily responsible for strategic development and implementation of marketing performance and trends for the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV, HOFVW) and its subsidiaries. This role will implement unique marketing strategies for business verticals impacting company objectives including destination resorts, media, and gaming. 

    Additionally, the Director of Social & Digital Marketing/Analytics will be responsible for conducting deep-dive marketing data analysis to derive actionable insights and to make data-driven recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness. 


    Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

    - Provide superior guest service to visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff. 

    - Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for short and long-term market optimization to build customers, create engagement, and generate revenue.

    - Create, implement, and manage the Social Strategy with support of Marketing team. 

    - Assess the competitive positioning and develop insights about the current and future audience of the company and its business verticals.

    - Analyze and report on marketing campaign performance. 

    - Conduct deep-dive marketing data analysis to derive actionable insights and to make data-driven recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness. 

    - Develop where necessary and provide governance over brand guidelines.

    - Support all areas of our growing business with the development of promotional collateral for special and private events, sports, leisure, and tourism related activities.

    - Develop processes and tools to provide timely data driven research to inform marketing decisions.

    - Support leadership teams with strategic planning activities and analysis.

    - Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to evaluate marketing success across all lines of business.

    - Supervision of assigned staff, assuming day-to-day responsibilities for personnel related matters that include but are not limited to:

    o Assist during interview process, onboard, and train new hires. 

    o Complete annual performance reviews for all supervised staff. 

    o Provide continuous feedback, supervision, and coaching to all supervised staff. 

    o Formal discipline supervised staff in conjunction with Human Resources. 

    o Create and maintain schedule, assignments, and attendance.

    o Approve time clocks and make adjustments as needed. 

    o Respond in a timely manner to calls, texts, inquiries, and emails.

    o Enforce uniform protocol. 

    - All other duties as assigned.


    FULL-TIME/SALARY/EXEMPT POSITION 

    Requirements

    Required Knowledge, Skills, & Desired Qualifications:

    - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required; preferably in business administration/management, marketing, or other sales related field. 

    - Minimum of 10 years of Marketing and/or Sales experience required, preferably in a sports or destination environment.

    - Minimum of 5 years of direct supervisory management experience required. 

    - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

    - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 

    - Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.

    - Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization.

    - Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance, working quickly without compromising quality.  

    - Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality. 

    - Proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite.


    Physical Requirements for Position: 

    - The ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. 

    - The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions, inside and outside.

    - The ability to move safely over uneven terrain, steps, or in construction zones. 

    - The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations. 

    - The ability to sit, stand, squat, and walk for periods of time as required for the position.

    - Must be able to hear, see, and speak.   

    - Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.    

    - Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.  

    - Must be available to work in Canton, Ohio.
